Hawaii’s weather is fairly consistent all year around. However, because the islands are located in a tropical zone, there are only two seasons: summer and winter.
If you’re from a colder climate, don’t let the phrase “winter” fool you – Hawaii’s winter isn’t even a little bit cold. Daytime temperatures still reach the upper 70’s, and often even break into the 80’s. However, it does tend to be a little rainier in the winter. Don’t be discouraged: It mostly rains in the mountains and valleys. The beaches are usually bright and sunny all year round, making Hawaii the perfect getaway from ice and snow.
Summer, of course, is Hawaii’s warmest, driest time. The island’s trade winds rush in a refreshing breeze, so you’re comfortable even on the hottest days. No matter what time of year you’re planning your next vacation, Hawaii is the perfect destination.
